Morandi

This place is great if you have a lot of cravings. They have great starters, pasta and meats. The ambiance is super cute, with great decorations in the winter. Unlike half of the places in NYC,  they actually take reservations and might even have availability at a decent time!  I also love the location, right in the heart of West Village are so there are a lot of cute bars around. This place is a good go-to spot and great for a cozy cute night with the girls or a date!

Carbone

Carbone is hands down one of my favorite Italian spots in NYC. Not only is the food absolutely incredible but the vibes are pretty great to. One of major food groups restaurants, they have managed to create a sceney yet classic restaurant with elegant interior, oh and they play some of my favorite r&b hits of all time. Feels very mid-20th century New York with waiters in uniforms, but you may just run into Beyonce or Leonardo Di Caprio here. It's a great spot for date night, birthday dinners or family outings. You really can’t go wrong ordering here, but absolutely have to get the spicy rigatoni. The lobster ravioli, burrata, veal marsala and prime porterhouse are great too. Oddly enough the carrot cake is also to die for. The whole experience if definitely worth whatever money you’ll drop here.

Pasquale Jones

This place has some of the best pizza in NYC in my mind. The dough is perfect- not too thick and doughy but not cracker thin. They also have great appetizers like octopus and brussel sprouts The inside is super cute and cozy also with an open fire oven. Pasquale is a pretty solid spot and love the location, right on the edge of Soho/Nolita. The restaurant itself is very dark so definitely take your next date here.

Rubirosa

This place has all the buzz in the world, with people claiming it's the best pizza in NYC. While the pizza is good, it’s nowhere near the best spot to get a good pizza in the city. This is very subjective as I love a traditional Sicilian pizza, with the perfect dough crunchy and thin but still doughy enough. Rubirosa pizza is a literal cracker with tomato sauce swiped on top. The notable pizzas there are the Vodka and four cheese. Note to everyone- just cause it's Bella Hadid's favorite, doesn't mean it will be yours. I would still go again, but definitely wouldn't wait for the typical hour line they have. The place itself is cute, very rustic lending itself to good date spot. Other than that its pretty meh.
