Lil’ Gem’s name does not disappoint. This place is a literal “Little Gem". It is the epitome of a cute, cozy place in NYC with a culinary thing going on. Located in LES this place is unique in the fact that they actually take reservations and you might be lucky enough to score a good one. They have an open Kitchen and vinyl booth seating that makes you want to snuggle in a blanket by the fireplace. This place is great for date night or girls night out. The food is Lebanese family-style, so make sure to order lots. In typical fashion we ordered almost everything on the menu, Brussels, mushroom flatbread, four cheese flatbread, octopus, hummus, labneh and lamb shawarma. Go when it's cold out and you are in the mood for a dark atmosphere, good glass of wine or cocktail and some yummy hearty food.
