Where to Eat in Capri, Italy

Where to Eat in Capri, Italy

 Where to eat

Panorama- best pizza in Capri and amazing views. call same day for lunch or have hotel reserve for dinner

De Giorgio - my favorite place!! Everything is amazing here- best for true Italian food

Mama - Michelin star restuaraunt very pretty and very good- more Mediterranean than Italian

Il Georgino- also one of my favorite meals! Very pretty views and amazing traditional Italian food. We went for lunch but would also be good for dinner.

Aurora- fancier place where all famous people and influencers go. This was good but not my favorite. They have a lot of truffle dishes

For lunch: you have to get a boat to conca di sogno but this is a must! Make sure you have your boat wait for you while you lunch and get back on! We made the mistake of not doing that...

For lunch: la fontelina also a must. You reserve day beds and arrive at 10am and have lunch at either 1 or 3 pm. Make a reservation online! We stayed here the whole day 9am-6pm highly recommend!

JK for drinks- best Bellini and cute trendy hotel

Capri rooftop- beautiful rooftop with great views. Get a cocktail here before dinner!

Gelato- you MUST get the gelato here- idk the name but it’s right off the main town square ( you’ll recognize it from the long line) they make the cones fresh in front of you in the waffle maker.

Hotel Quivana- good to sit outside the front and people watch with a drink

Must get a boat!! This was one of our favorite days- we did a half day for 360 euro (I think you could find cheaper) and they will take you everywhere to all the grotos etc.

Other places we didn’t go to but I have heard are good:
Villa verde
La Campannina
Drinks at Caesar Augustus and dinner at Cucillo ( Ana Capri)
Riccio  for lunch in anacpari
Faro- another beach spot
Praiano in Amalfi
Da paolino- very famous one for the Lemmon decorations

Capri was surprisingly one of the most amazing places I have been in a while. I didn’t have high hopes for it as I assumed it was the new Montauk of Europe and would be overrun with that crowd. To my pleasant surprise, it was just as lovely as everyone says it is. Everything there is so beautiful and all of the food is to die for. Expect to gain like 10 pounds, also expect to walk up and down a lot of stairs. Highly advise packing light here as there aren’t really cars here so you walk everywhere- including to your hotel. We stayed at two different boutique hotels that were both stunning. You must rent a boat for a day as well, it’s well worth it to explore the grottos surrounding the island. This has easily climbed into my top 10 favorite places in the world and I can’t wait to continue to go back every year!
